The Father

[Twelfth below, In a very simple manner, I tried to express a very little part of whole of what a father is to its child. I hope this little composition does its bit.]

From God, your happiness he’d borrow
From God, about your peace of tomorrow
With you, in joy and despair
With you, in kindness and care

You cried, he consoled
You cried, he sworn never to scold
You calmed, he felt content
You calmed, made you sleep and went

You giggled, he felt that sheer joy
You giggled, he bought you another toy
For you, he’d get everything you need
For you, he’d do all that great deed

For him, love him ample
For him, be a child’s best example
He will, thank god forever
He will, defy you never

What would you be without him,
He’s your dearest, Father!
