Drawing Distance

There may be a reason,

But there is a need;

Was acute expectation,

Is no greed;

Let's draw a distance, You don't pay heed...

In my land of solitude,

I sowed this seed;

You ignored me such,

And turned it a weed;

You wanted better people, of better breed...

So, let's draw a distance,

And end the need!

My Clandestine Love

[About a boy who wants to keep thoughts unexpressed for a girl just because she has someone else...]

She was abducted from me, stolen,

Before my feelings could appeal;

she was taken to his maze of love,

Before my garden could reveal...

I concealed million thoughts within,

And hid the expressive roses behind;

To rescue her happiness from turmoil,

which otherwise would make her melancholy unwind..

If my world is skeptical against me,

I shall tear my heart for bold evidence;

It flaunts her name engraved on it,

But I hide my love for her in clandestine persistence...
