Unspoken...

[In this twentieth, I tried to express the nature/properties of unspoken things for an individual. So, can speaking up clear things or add to the peril?]

Fear of the end,
Many thoughts collide and blend;
Many words the mind utters,
Mumbling inside and left unspoken…

Thoughts from the past or intuition,
Still refraining to meet conclusion;
Expressions flutter and calm down,
Caged inside they are unspoken…

Could speaking up have made a difference?
Unlike now, the silence and the distance,
Feelings die down, precipitate,
Evaporate, fade out and are unspoken…

The Deprivation

[Nineteenth poem is about the deprivation of love one experiences before falling in love. I hope you like it. J ]

Befriended the garden bench,
Love thirsty, searching to quench;
If this reason needs explanation,
It’s all about,
The deprivation.

Lived in solitude till now,
Needs a soul that cares, somehow;
My deserted world needs cultivation;
That will eliminate,
The deprivation.

Be my shade, I sought sun,
Sooth me with love and heal the burn,
Let me be your possession;
And help me escape,
The deprivation.

Still Standing There...

[Eighteenth one below is about a man still hoping to find his love back, regardless of what separated them.]

Cherishing my thoughts all the time,
Assassinating eyes, like one sweet crime;
I still love you, I still care,
But you walked away and I’m still standing there…

Viscous ocean of pain keeps me sinking,
Sitting at the shore, I keep thinking;
The ship of love ripped apart, beyond repair,
You disappeared and I’m still standing there…

Fisting handful of memories, from the past
Of the love that didn’t last;
With watery vision at you I stare,
You never turned around, I was still standing there…
